The setup was a breeze, but the most important item was the skill of the assistant and her chair-side manner, as well as Dr. Brian Papworth and his talent. They were both A+ and I don't say that lightly. I had a broken tooth that was in need of a root canal, and I felt nothing. Literally almost fell asleep during the procedure, and I am not a fan of dentistry. Expertise, chair-side manner, professionalism, and overall very sweet people! Great job!

I was prepared to return to our winter home in FL when I had a troublesome tooth. I went to our local dentist in Monticello, he determined I needed a root canal and referred me to Great River. This was my first experience with a root canal, and I am soooo very DDS phobic! I was overwhelmed by the amazing care and compassion and reassurance by Dr. Saylor and staff. Although my heart was beating out of my chest, I had no need for fear or pain. Should I ever have a need for another root canal, I will fly up to MN (even in the depth of winter) to have Dr. Saylor treat me. Saving the tooth was questionable, but I decided to proceed. I recently had my 6-mo DDS check with my family dentist, plus x-rays. All looks great with the root canal! Thank you Dr. Saylor and your assistant for allowing me to keep my tooth!

My experience was excellent. All staff encounters were pleasant and professional, but I especially liked my doctor. He explained all steps of the process, was very gentle and the procedure was relatively painless (until the Novocain left). I wish I could see him for all dental procedures.

The staff saw that I was shivering and gave me a blanket which was great, with already being a bit nervous the blanket was warm and made me much more comfortable. I would have never thought a root canal would have been this easy. I would definitely recommend them.
